Dr. Shankar Baral is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist currently serving as Associate Professor at Gandaki Medical College Teaching Hospital. He holds a DM in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS, Bir Hospital), Kathmandu. A dedicated Gastroenterologist with special interest in Interventional Gastroenterology and Hepatology, he brings more than a decade of clinical experience and extensive expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures — developed through advanced training at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, and Dulikhel Hospital.
